Coffs Coast Engineering began in 2022 with a simple goal: to offer clients a seamless journey from design to finished product. Founded by Shannon, an experienced fabricator from the aviation industry, and Byron, an electrical engineer with a similar background, the business quickly became known for its precision, creativity, and customer-first approach.
Over time, the business grew, and both machining and fabrication developed into distinct areas of expertise. In 2024, this growth led to an exciting new chapter—the creation of two separate businesses. Shannon continued to lead Coffs Coast Engineering, focusing on custom fabrication and metalwork, while Byron established Mill-Turn Australia to specialize in machining and CNC.
Although we now operate independently, we still collaborate on projects when it benefits our clients. This partnership allows us to combine our expertise while maintaining the flexibility and focus that come with being separate businesses. It’s this balance—collaboration when it counts and independence when needed—that ensures every project gets the best of both worlds.
